Why not take chance to play with collage in our monthly collage session - collage is a great tool for creating art in it's own right or for trying out ideas which may lead to something else. This workshop offers small relaxed guidance but mostly chance to experiment with a range of provided collage papers. Don't expect to create a masterpiece - but do expect to ignite your creative fire!

If you feel nervous about whether you will fit in, whether you will be out of your comfort zone I urge you to give it a go at the studio. I feel passionately about creativity being for everyone and this class is a very open opportunity to play with mixed media to explore varied ways of making. 

Art classes often focus on the outcome and this is not the case as this can create pressure - a feeling of comparison and 'good enough' or not. So much of creating art is being open to seeing what happens and this is what the aim is for this class. As well as just revelling in the joy of making. You will likely come away with some pieces that have taught you something -you may feel you have a finished piece or you may feel you have some pieces which you may add to beyond the session.
